MakuaTech Solutions is focused on developing a strong technically oriented business supporting the Federal Government and the Department of Defense. Our milestones include: securing several contract vehicles early in our business existence to enable us to build a workforce that will be able to pursue relevant core business goals; and establishing a company infrastructure that will support the sales, support, and services of OEM equipment, i.e. become a VAR for multiple hardware and software platforms.

In our mission statement we identify our Native Hawaiian parent company and our commitment to helping the Native Hawaiian people. Building a strong successful company is our best path to meeting that goal. As a Native Hawaiian owned company, we will leverage the 8(a) program to help us capitalize upon the capabilities we bring to the market.

Core to developing a reliable revenue stream is the creation of a business development structure. Our senior managers have decades of experience in the BD process, opportunity identification and qualification, team building and proposal writing. As a startup company we lack past performance, however with existing relationships we can become teammates to other companies. We can also use sole source contracts to provide a base revenue stream to fund business development while we identify and bid both 8a sub and prime opportunities.

As a start-up small business with seasoned managers we have all accumulated in-depth knowledge of federal contracting, financial management and operational execution. We have individually managed large work forces of over 1000 people. We understand the nuances of staffing, recruiting and benefits. We have cumulatively written 100's of proposals, performed business development and capture functions, stood up contracts, established the program management structure, negotiated contracts, managed a very wide range of work statements from software development, physical security systems, border surveillance systems, PMO support and staff augmentation, intelligence community IT systems support, system engineering, systems integration, test and evaluation of C4ISR both standards compliance, systems acceptance, and a myriad of other technical disciplines.

MakuaTech Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Native Hawaiian non-profit corporation, The Makua Group. MakuaTech Solutions will receive shared services support for contracts, finance and HR support from our Parent Company. As contracts are awarded to MakuaTech, we will draw from our sister companies, TMGE and TMGL, to supply labor forces on an as needed basis. This will allow MakuaTech, to mature its staff with the necessary expertise in the technical areas relevant to each new contract's requirements. Based upon the solid foundations of our parent and sister companies, MakuaTech Solutions has deployed a cloned set of financial practices, using the same automated financial software applications. Both sister companies, i.e., TMGE and TMGL, have recently completed DCAA audits which verified that our accounting procedures are compliant with Federal Acquisition Regulations. DCAA has reviewed and approved our sister companies' FY 2020 provisional rates.

As described above we are benefiting from our Parent Company's wide geographic coverage. We offer to our customers a management structure that can cover the east coast, west coast and the Pacific RIM. Infrastructure is key to successfully starting a contract effort. With finance, contracts and HR staffing already in place some of a new companies major challenges are significantly reduced.

Based on relationships harvested previously by our sister companies, MakuaTech Solutions has inherent experience that's been gained by performing work for the US Marine Corp, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic and Pacific, DISA, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), the Intel sector, Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) and the Air Force.
